Finnish Global Education Solutions Oy (FGES) and the Ministry of Good Spirit have supported the MovED by Mentoring program with donations that allow us to pay a donation for the Ukrainian teachers attending the program. It is important for both organizations to support the reconstruction of Ukraine, especially education.

- Education is the basis of everything. It is important to help create resources for teaching and to give hope to teachers who are working in the middle of a crisis. Teachers educate the next generations, so their role in reconstruction is significant, says Risto Vahanen, one of the owners of FGES.

Vahanen himself has international experience in mentoring.

- I would like to wish good luck to the mentoring pairs. Mentoring is one of the best ways to learn for both participants and I’m sure it will be rewarding.

With the help of the FGES donation, we can pay a remuneration to the Ukrainian teachers being mentored.

The Ministry of Good Spirit has cooperated with MovED.fi, officially run by Voices of Freedom NGO, since the beginning of the large scale war in Ukraine 2022.
- We have a multi-phase and multi-sectoral strategy to help Ukraine. MovED by Mentoring is one of our key partnership projects. In the reconstruction of Ukraine, the empowerment of teachers is absolutely central to the development of the entire nation. The goal of this project is to get very concrete results for the further training of Ukrainian teachers, but also to increase the competences and insight of Finnish teachers as mentors, says Mikko-Pekka Hanski, founder of the Ministry of Good Spirit.

Hanski is a teacher by training and he also works as a mentor in the MovED by Mentoring program.

- I know the teachers' context and understand their situation. I was happy to sign up as a mentor, because both of us will inevitably learn from it.

Lahjoitukset mahdollistavat palkkion MovED by Mentoring -ohjelman mentoroitaville

Finnish Global Education Solutions Oy (FGES) ja Hyvän mielen ministeriö ovat tukeneet MovED by Mentoring -ohjelmaa lahjoituksilla, joiden avulla voimme maksaa mentrointiohjelmaan osallistuville ukrainalaisille opettajille pienen palkkion. Molemmille organisaatioille on tärkeää tukea Ukrainan jälleenrakennusta, erityisesti opetukseen panostamista.

- Koulutus on kaiken perusta. On tärkeää olla mukana luomassa resursseja opetukseen ja antamassa toivoa hädän keskellä toimiville opettajille. Opettajat kouluttavat seuraavat sukupolvet, joten heidän roolinsa jälleenrakentamisessa on merkittävä, FGES:n omistajiin kuuluva Risto Vahanen kertoo.  

Vahasella on itselläänkin kokemusta kansainvälisestä mentoroinnista. 

- Haluan toivottaa mentorointipareille onnea tulevaan. Mentorointi on parhaita tapoja oppia puolin ja toisin ja ajasta tulee varmasti antoisa.

Hyvän mielen ministeriö on tehnyt yhteistyötä MovEDin taustalla virallisesti olevan Voices of Freedomin ry:n kanssa jo Ukrainan sodan laajenemisesta 2022 lähtien. 

 -  Meillä on monivaiheinen ja monialainen strategia Ukrainan auttamiseksi. MovEDin lanseeraama MovED by Mentoring on yksi keskeisistä kumppanuushankkeistamme. Ukrainan jälleenrakennuksessa opettajien innostus on aivan keskeistä koko kansakunnan kehittymisen kannalta. Hankkeen tavoitteena on hyvin konkreettiset tulokset ukrainalaisten opettajien täydennyskouluttamiseksi, mutta myös suomalaisten opettajien osaamisen ja näkemyksen lisäämiseksi, Hyvän mielen ministeriön perustaja Mikko-Pekka Hanski kertoo. 

Hanskilla on itsekin opettaja koulutukseltaan ja hän toimii MovED by Mentoring -ohjelmassa myös mentorina.
- Tunnen opettajien kontekstia ja ymmärrän heidän tilannettaan. Ilmoittauduin mielelläni mentoriksi, sillä siinä molemmat oppivat väistämättä.
